Coming Together for a Cause: Builders Supply’s Annual Toys for Tots Drive

At Builders Supply, giving back is part of who we are, and every year, our team proves just how big their hearts are during the holiday season.

This past Christmas, employees across Builders Supply came together for our annual Toys for Tots drive, a tradition that continues to grow thanks to the passion and generosity of our people. Sponsored by the Builders Supply chapter of our Horizon Women’s Employee Resource Group, the drive was truly a team effort, with employees from across the company stepping up to support families in need.

Thanks to that collective spirit, we donated more than 280 toys, helping bring joy, comfort, and excitement to children during the holidays. From stuffed animals and games to books and toys for all ages, every contribution helped make the season a little brighter.

While the Horizon Women’s ERG led the charge by organizing, promoting, and coordinating the drive, the response from Builders Supply employees was what truly made it special. This effort reflected something we see every day: when there’s an opportunity to support our communities, our people show up.

Employee-led initiatives like this Toys for Tots drive are a powerful example of our culture in action. They highlight the leadership, compassion, and sense of responsibility our team members bring not only to their work, but to the communities where we live and operate.
